Pixel Forge ("we," "our," or "us") operates the NavConverter mobile application (the "Service"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.

We use your data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information Collection and Use

We collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our Service to you.

Types of Data Collected

Personal Data & Authentication

To secure your Saved Locations, we use Firebase Authentication to assign an anonymous unique identifier to your device/account. This allows us to securely store and retrieve your saved data.

Usage Data

We may collect information that your mobile device sends whenever you use our Service ("Usage Data"). This Usage Data may include information such as:

• Your device's Internet Protocol address (IP address)
• Device type, model, and manufacturer
• Operating system version
• App version and build number
• Time and date of your visit
• Time spent on certain pages

Location Data

The primary function of NavConverter is to process navigation links and location coordinates ("Location Data").

• Processing: Location Data from the URLs you share with or input into the app is processed to extract coordinates and destination information.
• Storage:
  • History: Recent converted locations are stored locally on your device.
  • Saved Locations: If you verify and "Save" a location, it is stored securely on our servers (backed by Google Cloud/Render) to facilitate backup and synchronization.
• Analytics: To improve our parsing capabilities, we may log the structure of URLs or successful conversion events to our analytics providers.

Feedback Data

If you choose to submit feedback through the app, we collect:

• Your message
• Device and app information (Model, OS version, App version)
• Optional Logs: If you choose to include logs, a temporary buffer of recent app activity (which may include technical details of errors or processed URLs) will be sent to us to help debug issues.

Use of Data

We use the collected data for various purposes:

• To provide and maintain the Service (including Saved Locations sync)
• To detect, prevent and address technical issues
• To monitor the usage of the Service (via Firebase Analytics)
• To improve our URL parsing algorithms and app stability (via Firebase Crashlytics)

Service Providers

We employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service ("Service Providers").

Firebase

We use Firebase products provided by Google, Inc.:

• Firebase Authentication: To secure user identity.
• Firebase Analytics: To analyze user behavior. Google Privacy Policy
• Firebase Crashlytics: To report crash data.
• Firebase Firestore: To store user-submitted feedback.

Map Services

When you choose to open a location in a third-party map application (e.g., Google Maps, Waze, Apple Maps), the Location Data is passed to that application. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party applications.

Security of Data

The security of your data is important to us. We use industry-standard encryption and authentication mechanisms to protect your Saved Locations.

Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13.
